To begin working with the program you only need to have direct Internet connection and a special list with the proxy sources.
So, our goal is to receive "live" proxies.
Let's start!
1) As soon as you launch ZennoProxyChecker the Control window emerges:

2) Make sure that the indicator is green:

3)Pass on to the Sources window:

4) Do you remember that you need a list of proxy sources?
It may look like this:

The "sources.txt" file contains Internet page addresses. Proxy lists are either permanently stored on each of them or regularly added there.
5) Let's use the assistant to add these sources.
Press this button:

6) The Assistant window opens:

7) Select the "Path to the source list"option

Press "Next >":
![]()
8) In this window add our file from step 4)
Press here:

and select the file:

9) As soon as you press "Next >", the file contents will open:

10) Press "Next" once again and you'll see this:

Don't change anything here and press "Next".
11) The window of adding operation end opens.
Don't do anything here either - just press "Add".

12) Report on the number of the added sources emerges:

We can see them in the program's window:

These sources have been set by default.
13) Go back to the «Control» window:

Press the "Start" button:
![]()
14) You will be able to see how proxies began to download from the sources :

15) This is how the window of sources will look like:

You can see how the source statuses are changing.
Red sources - are not available sources. Note that their rating has fallen immediately.
Yellow sources - addresses that are available, but we haven't found proxies for them.
There can be two reasons for that:
1. This resource has been relocated - now this address has no proxies.
2. Sets of default regular expressions haven't recognized any proxies.
Finally, green sources are those sources where proxies have been detected. Their rating is increasing.
16) At the same time with the download process, proxies are being checked:

and only in a few minutes we'll get live proxies

which we can save into a file at once:
![]()
That's all!
