Q: Nothing seems to work, what shall I do?
A: Check the status of the Proxy-checker - it must be green. If the light is grey, you might have Internet connection problems. If the status is yellow, set the correct address of the check script in the program settings. |
Q: The status light is green, but nothing still happens!
A: Make sure that the Proxy-checker threads are running. Make sure that "live" sources are present and the number of live sources in the base is sufficient. You can also set a ten (or less) second request timeout in the proxy settings, and select the maximum available speed connection in the program settings. |
Q: What is the difference between filters and rules?
A: Their main difference is the application stages . (The stages are shown at the work scheme.) Filters are applied to proxies immediately after their download from the sources, but before adding into the base. Simply put, if we know that some proxies are not suitable for us, we can skip checking them, and, consequently, we are not adding then into the base. Unlike filters, rules are applicable to the proxies already checked and "live" for their flexible choice and use. |
